Born in the Republic of Panama, Mando was inspired by the festive Caribbean musical influences of the culture. Growing up in a musical household with his father as a jazz trumpet player and mother an incredible vocalist, Mando’s love for music was already in his blood.

 

At age 7, Mando began singing and playing guitar. By the age of 12, he pioneered the first Youth Choir in his local church. Forming the band, “The Young Generation,” at age 14; they played R&B, Funk, Calypso and Salsa. Soothing souls with his silky voice, Mando has performed in Singapore, Japan, HongKong, Philippines, Australia, Hawaii and Africa.

 

Currently, Mando takes the vocal lead for the band, “GForce”, singing R&B, Funk, Reggae and Latin ballads. He also sings with the Jazz Quartet, “Mando & Friends.” He has performed with notable musicians such as Llew Matthews, Max Bennett, and many others. His smooth crooner style and emotional rendition of Jazz classics, R&B grooves and Reggae vibes will leave you ecstatic.
